Pop Ballet Lessons

The idea behind Pop Ballet is to give dancers the opportunity to break free from ballet stereotypes. You don’t HAVE to do ballet to classical music. Pop Ballet opens doors to creative expression that traditional ballet does not allow, giving young dancers the chance to express themselves through movements inspired by music they are passionate about. By challenging the traditional boundaries of ballet, they can find an outlet to explore the depths of their passion and creativity. Pop Ballet allows dancers to push the boundaries of their art, discover their unique style, and create a whole new genre of movement. When you give a young dancer the option to explore classical ballet training to songs they are familiar with, watch their creativity blossom!

Our Ballet program is designed to inspire and captivate, helping students explore the beauty of classical ballet with an innovative and creative twist. Our talented instructors create an atmosphere where students can learn and grow in a fun and inviting environment. With the familiarity and joy of popular music, our students develop strong connections with their fellow dancers, fostering an incredible sense of community. As they practice and refine their technique, they discover the grace and power of ballet and the undeniable sense of accomplishment that comes with it!

To dance your best, you must look your best! Leotard, tights, skirt and ballet shoes for the ladies. Gentleman can wear a tight-fitting shirt with tight pants and ballet shoes. Hair is to be pulled up in a bun and out of your face. Need help finding the right gear? Let us help! We partner with local and online dance retail stores for the convenience of our students!

Absolutely! Every Summer and Winter, students have the opportunity to perform in a real theater and be treated like professional dancers! Unlike most of our competitors, we do not charge students a fee to perform. All family and friends are welcome to attend. In addition to the on-stage recitals, we also provide regular performance opportunities around the community including local retirement homes. See our performance page for more information.
